Bio

Sabine Everaet, Commercial Engineer from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, started her career in 1991, as a Consultant for KPMG and later Price Waterhouse with key focus on process & organizational redesign, and ERP implementations.

In 1995, she joined The Coca-Cola Company as a Business Analyst, and consequently, held various IT Project and Account Management roles with continuously expanding functional and geographic responsibility. She led the European applications development and support team and implemented formalized service level reporting. She installed IT governance and portfolio management through the establishment of an IT Program Management Office. She led multiple outsourcing, offshoring and insourcing initiatives, with a significant drop in internal headcount and operating expenditure.

In 2007, Sabine became Deployment Services Director on a global program aiming to transform the Bottlers’ operating model towards standardized data and processes supported by mainly SAP systems. In that context, she led the building of a deployment toolkit with a South-African partner and selected preferred deployment partners for worldwide delivery. She drove successful implementations in China, Australia and The Philippines. In 2009, Sabine was appointed Europe Group CIO for The Coca-Cola Company. The first challenge she faced, was the renegotiation of the technology and end-user computing outsourcing contracts to achieve targeted transformation savings, whilst at the same time supporting the Finance, Procurement and HR transformation. Current focus is on consumerization of IT as well as exploiting the digital and mobile platforms to uplift the connection with consumers, customers and stakeholders. At the same time, she collaborates with the European based bottling operations to converge to data standards and processes, supported by strategic, global solutions.

Sabine was elected Belgian CIO of the Year in 2011.
