C3 AI named Salesforce veteran Stephen Ehikian CEO. Ehikian was CEO of RelateIQ and Airkit.ai, two companies that were acquired by Salesforce. RelateIQ turned into Salesforce Einstein and Airkit became the precusor to Agentforce.
C3 AI said its fiscal first quarter sales will be well below expectations and that it has reorganized its sales operations. CEO Tom Siebel said his stepping back from the sales process due to his health "may have had a greater impact than I previously thought."
C3 AI's revenue growth in its first quarter checked in at 21% as the company continued to land enterprise use cases. C3 AI's outlook for the second quarter was light.
C3 AI outlined its product roadmap for the rest of the year and C3 AI Vision, which will provide spatial representations via data points. C3 AI Vision will cover a bevy of use cases for logistics, sourcing optimization, military, law enforcement, process optimization and aircraft readiness.
