Nick is an ERP systems analyst who facilitates process improvement from an IT perspective. He focuses on developing and integrating novel systems and tools to aid business transformation. After spending over a decade managing research and development teams in the food industry his penchant for systems and data led to a career shift into systems analytics and business transformation in the clean energy sector, a long-standing dream field in which to work.

Nick has participated in implementing several ERP systems, originally focusing on process manufacturing, inventory and MRP, then transitioning into field service & maintenance, and most recently security architecture inside a SOX-compliant environment. His interest in data science has led him to help develop a variety of solutions, from custom laboratory information management systems to mobile applications, collaboration with third party vendors on formulation software and asset management tools. He has enjoyed broad exposure to a variety of business processes, supporting systems, and the importance of managing access to sensitive data and personally identifiable information (PII).

Combining a passion for data analytics, contributing to the growth of the green energy, and improving user experiences through process efficiency and novel software solutions has kept him inspired to keep adapting.

Nick holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. He spends most of his time typing, dreaming of mountains, and hanging out in his free-range tomato patch.
