Ken Grady became IDEXX Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer in February 2016, leading the global Information Technology (IT) organization in the strategic application and implementation of technology throughout IDEXX. Ken joined IDEXX in 2014 as Vice President and CIO to drive the development and delivery of IDEXX’s industry-leading systems and services and to further enhance the overall technology architecture that scales and propels the company’s ongoing growth strategy. 
 
Ken is a CIO & business leader with strategy, organizational and delivery experience. He has built and led teams at small startups and large, global organizations from Fortune 500 pharma companies to startup teams. Ken has a broad IT background in the development, implementation and operational integration of technology solutions within Life Sciences research and development environments, supply chain operations and product launch / commercialization.

Ken is an experienced cross-functional change agent capable of negotiating consensus and delivery of both top-line growth and LEAN operational efficiency. Ken is responsible for alignment of enterprise and business process solutions across multiple business units with globally based operations, setting direction for management of a complex technology portfolio, sourcing and stability.

Ken served as a linguist and translator for the U.S. Army, and continues his community outreach in this area, serving as the vice-chair of the Educate Maine board of directors, and on the advisory boards of multiple technology companies. He studied Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of the Arabic program at the Defense Language Institute.
