Jennifer Ives is the Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships for 3Pillar Global. She is a seasoned business leader with more than 20 years of experience leading teams, crafting revenue-generating business strategies and generating double-digit growth results at technology and information services companies around the world, ranging in size from venture-backed startups to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to her current role, she led P&L and sales activities for 3Pillar’s diverse portfolio of clients from industries including security, media, information services, and data analytics. In her current role, she is responsible for sourcing, developing, and implementing innovative strategic partnerships to guide and accelerate the continued growth of 3Pillar.
Jennifer began her career as a geospatial engineer where she developed and managed the creation of digital products for national security agencies and global organizations, and has worked at the intersection of digital products, business, and people ever since. Before joining 3Pillar Global, she was the Senior Vice President of North America at Top Employers Institute, a global data and analytics organization serving Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that, she led strategic growth at LiveSafe, a venture-backed, award-winning emerging technology company that developed an enterprise-class safety and risk intelligence platform serving hundreds of universities, the military, and Fortune 500 organizations around the world. She also spent more than 10 years as Director of Business Investment for Arlington Economic Development, where she was responsible for designing and executing one of the most successful innovation-based economic development clustering strategies in the country, laying the groundwork for the recent Amazon headquarters expansion. Very notably, Jennifer served as an Organizing Board Member for Startup Virginia and spoke at the White House on the topic of Entrepreneurship and the Innovation Economy during the Obama administration.
A self-described “data geek,” and frequent speaker, panelist, and podcast guest, she is a sought after advisor for digital-first founders, serves as a mentor with the University of Virginia’s i.Lab, and is a member of Women In Technology, Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative, and The Leadership Center for Excellence.
