John Allessio joined PROS as Chief Customer Officer in October 2019. He leads all post-sales customer-facing operations and customer success programs globally as part of PROS long-term corporate growth strategy.

John Allessio joined Red Hat as Vice President, Global Services late in September 2014. He is responsible for Consulting, Training, and Business Partner enablement services with the overall goal of Client and Business Partner success with Red Hat products globally. In March 2019 John was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Services at Red Hat.

John Allessio was named Vice President, Global Client Success and Engagements - Industry Cloud Solutions at IBM in April 2010. He was responsible for Software Lab Services, Education, Enablement, Technical Support, Accelerated Value Program, and Customer Success offerings globally for the Industry Cloud Solutions software division. Additionally, he was responsible for the SaaS Operations, Delivery, and Support for IBM Software Group. This global technical services, support, and client success organization consisted of over 3500 technical consultants, engineers, and client success managers in more than 35 countries with a goal of client success with IBM's Industry Client Solutions software which included Commerce, B2B, ExperienceOne/Enterprise Marketing Management, and Smarter Cities offerings.

Prior to joining Industry Cloud Solutions, John was responsible for Lab Services, Premium Support, and Education globally in support of the Lotus Collaboration and WebSphere Portal business. Additionally, John has had numerous executive and management roles including Vice President, Americas Software Technical Sales, Services Sales, and Field Enablement. John also served as Director, WW WebSphere Technical Sales and Support.

John joined IBM as a Systems Engineer in Southfield, Michigan supporting the Automotive Industry. He has held numerous technical, sales, services, management, and executive roles.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from Wayne State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
