A computer engineer who went to design school, he is focused on bringing the power of modern AI to enterprises the right way - a symbiosis of deep AI engineering expertise with unrelenting focus on design and human experience. He's in a hands-on engineer and designer.
Sunil has a bachelor’s in computer science from Mangalore University in India, and a master’s in fine arts, focused on typography & design from the University of Arts, Zurich. He started his career as an embedded systems engineer at Lockheed. In late 90s he founded an enterprise mobile startup that was acquired. Later he worked at Sonicwall and Fox Interactive. In 2007 he cofounded Registria which became the ecommerce backend of companies like Nest. Regsitria was acquired in 2012 after which Sunil went back to school to study design. He has since founded TCS Interactive, been CEO of Designit, President at Plus Company, and recently CEO of BORN, before founding Soul of the Machine with his long-time collaborators - Raj Kini and Preston Blair.
