Kim Salem-Jackson is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, leading Akamai’s global marketing efforts including brand, purpose, corporate communications, product marketing, field marketing, and digital marketing, as well as the company’s customer enablement programs.

Salem-Jackson is a data-driven, global marketing executive whose 20-plus-year career has been focused on activating marketing as a growth engine and amplifying marketing’s impact on the business. She is passionate about advanced analytics and data science, and using that data to achieve optimal marketing efficiency. Previously, she served as Akamai’s Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Corporate Communications, where she led global field marketing, customer marketing, channel marketing, events, corporate communications, and the sales development organization.

Kate Prouty
SVP and CIO
Akamai Technologies

Kate Prouty is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Akamai. As CIO, she oversees Akamai’s Information Technology organization, responsible for business transformation including global strategy, development, and operation of the applications and IT infrastructure that enable agile and efficient user experiences for Akamai’s customers, employees, and partners. She is based at the company’s global headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Prouty joined Akamai in 1999 and has led a long and distinguished career at the company, leading the transformation of Akamai’s business processes with an emphasis on flexibility, agility, and user experience. She has been instrumental in developing systems that have been foundational to the company’s growth and scale, including the implementation of Akamai’s enterprise resource planning systems, the network statistics system that is used across the company to better understand how our customers are using our deployed network, and our network supply chain to ensure the smooth operation of the business and best serve Akamai’s customers. Prior to becoming CIO, she collaborated closely with leaders across the company in HR, Finance, Platform Engineering, Product Development, Services, and Sales. She brings to the role an adept understanding of the criticality of security, risk, and compliance across the industry and Akamai’s business.

Prior to joining Akamai, she held a variety of technology positions including in network administration, system administration, database administration, and software implementation at Fleet Financial and Digitas.

Prouty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Keene State College and is a graduate of the Greater Boston Executive Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. She co-chairs the Executive Women’s Network at Akamai and is a member of the board of directors of the nonprofit organization Delta Projects, which supports and empowers people with intellectual challenges.

Sandy Carter
Senior Vice President and Channel Chief

Sandy Carter is Senior Vice President and Channel Chief at Unstoppable Domains. In this role, she is responsible for driving new partnerships and integrations for Web 3.0, Blockchain, and NFTs. Her mission is to onboard the world onto the decentralized web by building a digital identity platform.

Previously, Sandy was Vice President for Public Sector Partners at AWS. In this role, she was responsible for driving next-generation partnering in cloud, machine learning, IoT and blockchain, growing the ecosystem over 45%.

Sandy was a founder and CEO of a startup in Silicon Valley. This startup created a set of recommendations, through an AI engine, for innovation tactics that would fit with a company's culture. In her last role at IBM, she ran the AI/ML Ecosystem on behalf of the IBM. Sandy is the Chairman of the Board of Girls in Tech, and an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley. She is also the author of Extreme Innovation. She is the founder of Unstoppable Women of Web3 (WoW3).

MARK L. SIROWER is a U.S. Leader in Deloitte’s M&A and Restructuring practice, where he joined in 2008 to launch the M&A Strategy practice. Mark has advised senior executive teams on hundreds of transactions over the past 25 years from strategy and diligence through post-merger integration. Previously, he built the Deals Strategy Group at PwC and was global leader of the M&A practice at the Boston Consulting Group where he developed innovative approaches to crafting M&A strategies, planning integrations, delivering synergies, and creating shareholder value.
