John is the North American Business Director for Designit, leading client growth strategy for the firm.  With over 20 years of experience, he has a deep and broad history of applying strategic design to support some of the world’s leading brands, including USAA, Wells Fargo, The Capital Group, Nike, Disney, Samsung, General Electric, Kindred Healthcare, and Quiksilver.

Prior to joining Designit, John was an Executive Director with Accenture’s design and innovation group, acting as Financial Services Practice Lead. Previously, John led go-to-market strategy for Adaptive Path, an experience strategy and service design consultancy acquired by Capital One. He’s also served in executive roles with leading innovation and digital design firms and was a founding member of Greenlight, a Kleiner Perkins-funded startup acquired by Internet Brands. 

John began his career as a decorated U.S. Naval Officer, Aviator and Instructor Pilot serving eight years on Active Duty. He’s a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and lives with his wife and two children in San Francisco.
