Kim Anstett is the CIO at The Nielsen Company, a leader in independent measurement with over 50,000 associates in more than 100 countries. During her 16 years with Nielsen and throughout her 23 year career, Kim has been a leader of change, focused on aligning IT strategies with corporate business plans. She's led dozens of transformation initiatives from global technology platform deployments to company acquisitions and large scale IT integrations. Her experience includes software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management and corporate ERP systems. Kim is passionate about diversity and leadership development. She is an executive sponsor, frequent speaker, and contributor to the Emerging Leaders Program and Diversity & Inclusion groups at Nielsen. She is also a mentor to numerous individuals, furthering Nielsen's goal of growing talent and developing a strong leadership pipeline. In 2016, Kim was recognized by Tech Diversity Magazine as a 2016 Distinguished Chief Information Officer. In addition, Kim recently won the Tampa Bay Business Journal's CIO of the Year award for public companies. In 2017, Kim joined the Tampa Bay Technology Forum's board of directors as their Community Chair. Kim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University. She lives in Odessa, Florida with her husband and three sons. When not working, Kim is cheering for her sons' baseball teams and practicing her love of photography.
