Gabriele Ricci has devoted his career to transforming healthcare through the innovative application of digital technologies.  A global business leader, for over 20 years he has worked for multinational companies spanning a wide breadth of industries, from pharmaceuticals to medical devices to diagnostics and biotechnology.  Gabriele is a recognized thought leader and featured speaker in the areas of digital health, innovation, and emerging trends bringing a wide range of experience working with incubators and venture capitalists to identify and accelerate the most promising digital health startups.  His leadership was instrumental in the founding of The Global Commission to End the Diagnostic Odyssey for Children with a Rare Disease, a unique partnership led by Shire, Microsoft and EURODIS aimed at drastically shortening time to diagnosis for children and their caregivers struggling with an undiagnosed rare disease.  He sits on the board of advisors of Pulse@MassChallenge, which is recognized for its startup-friendly approach to accelerating the development of new digital health technologies. Gabriele holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering management from University of Rome Tor Vergata and an MBA from MIB School of Management.
