Robert Kleinschmidt is a business-driven CIO with over 27 years of experience in various leadership roles across the aerospace, defense, industrial, and technology sectors.
As the CIO of AirBorn Inc., a leading provider of high-reliability interconnect solutions, he is responsible for driving digital innovation and transformation across the organization, aligning the IT strategy with the business goals and customer needs. He led the creation and execution of a 5-year plan that includes expanding the CX suite with marketing automation, modernizing the infrastructure with Microsoft 365, establishing a master data governance team and practice, and architecting a digital product thread and core systems including PLM, CPQ, ERP, and MES.
He is also progressing well towards achieving CMMC Level 3 by October 2024. He is passionate about delivering a great and differentiated customer and employee experience and driving scalability and efficiency.
Robert has an Executive MBA from London Business School and an MBA in Digital Business Transformation.
