I am a visual journalist and facilitator. The power of visual metaphor is enormous for communicating complexity and facilitating deep human engagement.
My story: After many years as a daily newspaper reporter, I wrote a book on creativity and, in the research phase, discovered that innovative thinkers rely on nonverbal wisdom for their breakthrough ideas. Then as a researcher in learning and innovation at Institute for the Future, I learned the use of visual language to map cross-disciplinary ideas and create forecasts.
Today I work with leaders of Fortune 500 companies and educational nonprofits, leveraging visuals for transformational thinking and learning. I'm passionate about visual communication!
Specialties: We use visual language for communicating complex emergent knowledge for teams, conferences, individuals, and publications. As journalists, we are recorders of the important issues of our times, providing insights on key issues including ethics of technology and the gender gap.
