Currently Chief Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility and Governance Officer, and General Counsel for Fortune 500 food and beverage company (NYSE: CPB) overseeing legal, corporate governance, government affairs, corporate social responsibility, strategic venture and security for Campbell's 19,000+ employees globally. Member of the Company’s 9 person executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO. Managed Campbell International division in 2019. Led the creation of company’s strategic venture and partial ownership operations, including structuring of sole LP, external venture capital fund Acre Venture Partners, as well as an 80% owned internal personalized nutrition start-up and other partially-owned investments.
* Oversaw and negotiated $6.1 billion acquisition of Snyder’s Lance, Inc. and $700 million acquisition of Pacific Foods of Oregon.
* Assisted the Board of Directors in CEO transition from Denise Morrison to Keith McLoughlin and related corporate governance issues.
* Advised the board and lead multidisciplinary team involved with activist investor Third Point Capital and resolving the related proxy fight.
* Played a leading role in company strategic and portfolio review in summer of 2018.
* Served as member of Acre Venture Partners’ investment committee.
From June to December 2019 oversaw Campbell International operating divisions with 4000 employees in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Denmark, representing $1.12 billion in FY 2019 sales and $149 million in EBIT. Responsible for continued operations during the pre-closing of divestiture period and for managing the divestiture process.
