Major survey provides tool for organizations to benchmark against peers

Constellation Research, Siebel Observer, and Siebel Essentials today announced the launch of a survey designed to gauge the status of Siebel implementations worldwide. Siebel users are invited to take the 10-15 minute survey in exchange for a complimentary copy of the research report “The State of Siebel in the 2013 Market” worth $2,000, a free job posting on the Siebel Observer, worth $480, and preliminary results from the survey which may provide valuable career guidance to participants. Survey participants will not be identified in any way to those outside of Constellation Research without their specific permission.

Constellation Research is the specialty research and advisory firm focused on helping organizations harness the power of disruptive and emerging technologies. Siebel Observer is the leading independent publication following Oracle Siebel technology, and Siebel Essentials is the most popular Siebel Blog.  Together they have created this survey to determine the utilization status of organizations are with their Siebel implementations.  The survey contains 36 specific questions including:

  • How many customer records does your Siebel implementation have currently?
  • How many custom fields were added?
  • How often does the business process change in your industry?
  • How long do you plan to run Siebel applications?

“The response to the Siebel survey has been tremendous thus far, and we expect a lot of interest from organizations wanting to benchmark their implementation against their peers,” said Constellation Chairman and Founder R “Ray” Wang.

In September Constellation Research published “The State of Siebel in the 2013 Market” by Principal Analyst and Vice President, J. Bruce Daley. This research report helps Oracle Siebel customers understand the directions they can take their Siebel implementations and how those directions will impact their careers. A complimentary copy of this report will be offered to survey respondents.

All members of the Siebel community are invited to complete the survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013SiebelSurvey
