Sam Yen is the Chief Innovation Officer for Commercial Banking at JP Morgan Chase & Co. Sam is responsible for digital products, platform, innovation, and product strategy.

Prior to JPMC, Sam was the Managing Director for SAP Silicon Valley and was SAP's first Chief Design Officer responsible for driving SAP's Design and User Experience strategy and execution across the company. Sam also led SAP's Design Thinking practice both internally and for customers. During Sam's tenure, SAP has been recognized as one of the leading design-centered organizations in the world (DMI design value index) and has won several prestigious design awards. While he was Managing Director for SAP Silicon Valley, SAP received several awards as a great place to work. He championed initiatives such as early talent and diversity/inclusion. Sam also served as an Executive Sponsor for several of SAP's customers and partners including Colgate Palmolive, Nestle, the San Jose Sharks, the National Basketball Association, and SAP's partnership with Google Cloud.
