Charlie Isaacs has led R&D at Verizon, Answer Systems (acquired by CA), Broad Daylight (sold to Primus, ATG, then Oracle), and served as CTO at Kana (Verint). He later became VP of Innovation at Alcatel-Lucent/Genesys and is now VP/CTO for Customer Connection at Salesforce, where he helps customers adopt IoT and emerging tech—calling it “the best job at Salesforce.” Charlie holds a BSEE from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from Cal Lutheran. He holds multiple CRM/IoT/AI patents, volunteers to support underrepresented groups in STEM, and enjoys family life with Paula, three kids, and four grandkids.
