Sangy Vatsa is the Chief Technology and Digital Officer of HTC Global Services, a global technology solutions and services company. He is accountable for all aspects of technology and digital for the company. Previously, as a seasoned Chief Technology, Information and Digital Officer with a track record of accelerating growth and maximizing value, Sangy has delivered such value in progressive leadership roles at Fortune companies like American Express, Comerica Bank, FIS, and Ford Motor Company.
He was formerly the EVP, Global Chief Technology and Digital Officer of FIS where he was responsible for product engineering and delivery, technology and process transformation programs, enterprise architecture, shared services, data analytics, and operations. Prior to joining FIS, Sangy served as EVP and Chief Information Officer of Comerica Bank. He was responsible for all product engineering, technology operations, cybersecurity, enterprise data office, business continuity and technology risk management for the company.
Prior to joining Comerica Bank, Sangy served as the Chief Information Officer for global customer service, credit, collections, and payments issuance at The American Express Company. At American Express, he served in executive leadership roles for IT strategy, architecture and innovation, enterprise shared services, global business travel and corporate payments digital capabilities. Prior to American Express, Sangy spent several years at Ford Motor Company (and Ford Financial Services) in various progressive leadership, architecture, technology development and delivery roles.
Sangy earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He also holds a Master of Computer and Information Systems degree and a Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering degree. Sangy is actively engaged as a board member and an advisor in the industry, both with technology start-ups and with non-profit companies. He lives in Michigan with his wife, and they have two children who are pursuing post graduate studies.
