Matt Lehwess is a Sr. Principal Solutions Architect / Director for the Amazon EC2 networking service team. He is a long-time Amazonian of 9 years, AWS re:Invent speaker, patent holder, and co-author of the AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty exam guide. He has helped develop AWS services such as Transit Gateway, Traffic Mirroring, AWS Outposts, and many others.
Matt has resided in San Francisco, California for the last 10 years, originally from Australia where he grew up in a small rural town south of Sydney. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, climbing, and distance hiking in the California wilderness.
