Named as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful U.S. Women in Technology by the United States National Diversity Council (2019), Mary Kotch currently serves as the Global CIO & Operations for Aspen Insurance/Apollo Group, a leading global insurer. She is a board member at St. Joseph University/Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management. Her prior role was EVP, Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Validus Holdings, a Global Insurer/Reinsurer.

She has also held a number of executive leadership positions at AIG; including Chief Technology Officer for Americas and Chief Information Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean. Mrs. Kotch was also awarded the 2014 AIG CAO and IAD Diversity & Inclusion Award for her work championing women in technology.

Mary has been featured in Waters Technology Magazine, Executive Profile Magazine, and The 30 Most Influential Women in Business and is a frequent keynote speaker for various financial service technology conferences. She is passionate about optimizing and developing IT talent and working with colleges and universities to enhance curriculum for technology students.

She been an advisory board member guiding a number of industry consortiums or start-up companies including Data Cubes, Pillar Tech, RequirementOne, Aquiline Technology Investment Fund, Pharmaceutical IMPACC and Behavioral Health Committee for Informatics. Expertise; M&A, startup financial planning, operations, sales strategies to drive significant growth, strategy to scale, risk and compliance.

She has numerous accreditations and certifications in CISSO, AI, Machine Learning, and undergraduate and graduate programs from Temple and Penn State University. She and her husband Dr. Mike Kotch have a son and daughter. Mary is passionate about #WIT, #Robotics, #Stem and has started an educational fund at St. Joseph the Worker early childhood development program in honor of Kathleen Ferrizzi.
