As a technology professional for over 30 years, Justin has learned the importance of teamwork, grit and how to work together to move with speed and precision to get things done. Having a bit of a natural competitive streak coupled with a passion to create technology with a purpose – applying open-source blockchain technology to improve food safety, AI to help grow food with less or robotics to improve worker safety – is what fuels Justin and what he believes will help unlock some of the greatest food and sustainability challenges we face.

At Cargill, the world’s largest private food, agriculture, financial and industrial products company, Justin oversees the company’s Global IT function where they're focused on harnessing the power of technology to transform the global food and agriculture system. They have been on a multi-year information technology transformation focused on creating a data-driven culture, implementing enterprise-wide solutions across Cargill business units and functions and breaking new ground to solve the world’s food problems – like establishing Cargill Digital Labs.

With a 25-year career in IT management and leadership positions – and an equally long track record coaching youth sports – Justin is passionate about mentorship and what it takes to build strong teams.
