Suzy Scanlon is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA). Named to this position in January 2017, she has primary responsibility for the strategic direction of the company’s information technology resources as well as management of RGA’s global information technology operations.
Since coming to RGA Reinsurance Company in 2009 as Vice President, IT Global Business Solutions, Ms. Scanlon has had leadership roles in a number of important global projects to create solutions to modernize RGA’s business infrastructure across functions including finance, valuations, investments, actuarial services, human resources, and customer relationship management.
Before joining RGA, She worked for more than 25 years at Monsanto Company in St. Louis, Missouri, where she held a broad range of U.S. and global information technology positions, including Vice President, Research and Development I.T. and Vice President, International Division Information Technology.
Ms. Scanlon received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and earned an Executive M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis’s John M. Olin School of Business. She has been recognized as one of the Premier 100 IT Leaders by ComputerWorld magazine and as one of St. Louis’s “25 Most Influential Business Women” by the St. Louis Business Journal.
