Simona Rollinson is the Chief Information Officer at Clayco. She joined Clayco in July 2018. In this role, Ms. Rollinson is responsible for overseeing all elements of the Information Technology department, from service desk operations to cyber security and business enablement. As Ms. Rollinson begins her tenure at Clayco she is planning to outline a strategic roadmap in the technology space and establish an IT investment council, as well as identify new opportunities that will allow Clayco to develop innovative initiatives that change the field.

Prior to joining Clayco, Ms. Rollinson was Chief Information Officer for Cook County. In May 2018 Rollinson was named Nonprofit/Government Chief Information Officer of the Year at the annual ORBIE Awards held in partnership with the CIO Leadership Association. The award honors chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.

Ms. Rollinson comes to Clayco with more than 20 years of experience as a technology professional. Following 17 years in the private sector at a software company, she moved to the public sector for four years before her decision to join Clayco. She was named President of Follett Software Company in 2011. During her tenure, Follett dramatically expanded its software and service offerings, while at the same time significantly improving operating efficiency. Her broad background in the field will allow her to shape the future of technology at Clayco from several angles.

Ms. Rollinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from Technical University-Sofia in Bulgaria; a Master of Science in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, IL (SIU); and has pursued her Ph.D. in Engineering from SIU. She is a graduate of the Chicago Management Institute at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
