John Delano has been appointed Chief Information Officer for the Southwest Region of Adventist Information Technology. His responsibilities include overseeing information systems across the four hospitals in the region, integrating computer systems across providers and health systems and directing the technology of major capital projects.
The four hospitals under Delano’s direction include Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South, Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos and Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.
Delano comes to this position with more than 16 years of experience in healthcare information technology. He holds a Master of Science degree in technology management from Oklahoma State University.
