Patty Morrison is executive vice president of Customer Support Services and chief information officer of Cardinal Health. In this role, Morrison is responsible for the company's enterprise-wide information technology. She is also responsible for the Customer Contact Centers and Customer Administration.
Previously, Morrison was EVP and CIO for Motorola, where she oversaw all strategic, operational and financial aspects of the company's information technology architecture, systems, tools, processes and infrastructure. Her prior experience also includes senior-level information technology positions at Procter and Gamble, General Electric, Quaker Oats, PepsiCo and Office Depot.
 
Morrison's reach within the IT and business community has spanned 30 years across five different industries. She has broad expertise in managing complex, multi-business shared services. She has dedicated her career to using technology to solve business problems. A respected and experienced IT professional, she is a recipient of the Fisher-Hopper Prize for Lifetime Achievement in CIO Leadership. She was also inducted to the CIO Magazine Hall of Fame in 2008.
 
Morrison serves as board president for Opera Columbus and is a board member for the Columbus Collaboratory. She is also on the board of directors at Splunk, the market leader in analyzing machine data to deliver operational intelligence for security, IT and the business, and Aramark, a global provider of food, facilities and uniform services to education, healthcare, business and industry, and sports, leisure and corrections clients.
 
Morrison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and statistics and Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating summa cum laude.
