Geevy Thomas is the president of Nordstrom Rack, overseeing 241 Nordstrom Rack stores across North America and two clearance centers. He and his team support store operations, strategy, finance, store planning, off-price merchandising, and most recently introduced Nordstrom Rack to Canada.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering customers a wide selection of on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at an everyday savings of up to 70 percent off regular prices. The Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com, as well as specially purchased items from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom. The Rack is the largest source of new customers to Nordstrom and serves as a great introduction for new customers who may have never shopped at one of Nordstrom, Inc.’s full-line stores. Nordstromrack.com, which operates on a shared platform with its online private sale site, HauteLook.

Geevy joined Nordstrom in 1983 as a salesperson in Men’s Furnishings and worked his way through college. Geevy held numerous positions throughout the company including store, regional and buying management. While in the role of regional manager for Los Angeles, Geevy was named vice-president in 1998. After adding the Orange County region to his responsibilities for several years, he was named executive vice president and general merchandising manager for full-line stores in 2000. In 2002, Geevy was named executive vice president, south regional manager for full-line stores, where he served until 2009 before assuming the role as president of Nordstrom Rack in 2010. He joined the Executive Team in 2012. Geevy served as chief innovation officer beginning in January 2017 before resuming as president of Nordstrom Rack.
