Chris leads IHG Technology Business Management and serves as CIO Chief of Staff, with responsibility for leading IHG’s global technology strategy, financial planning & investment management, technology supplier performance management, delivery excellence & transformation, change management and communications programs.

Before joining IHG, Chris was Group Head of Technology & Innovation and CITO Chief of Staff for Etihad Aviation Group (EAG), headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He was responsible for leading all group-wide technology enabling capabilities including Program Management Office, Innovation Design and Change, Supplier Performance Management and TBM Offices, Governance and Performance Management, Financial Planning, Strategic Projects and Communications. He also held Chief of Staff responsibilities for EAG’s Chief Information and Technology Officer. 

Prior to EAG, Chris led the formation of Taleris (a joint venture company between GE and Accenture) and served as Corporate Officer and Vice President, responsible for all global commercial and technology solution architecture activities. He previously co-founded and served as Managing Partner for Transform, an Atlanta-based CXO-level business transformation and technology integration service provider for global clients. Earlier in his career, Chris held roles of increasing responsibility at GE and Motorola across digitization, acquisition integration, program and project management, strategic programs, global business planning and competitive intelligence functions.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing from Emory University’s Roberto C. Goizueta Business School. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Change Acceleration Process Facilitator and holds additional certifications in program management and software delivery methods.
