Luis Amador is the Chief Data Officer at Moody’s Analytics, where he shapes and drives the company’s global data strategy. He leads efforts across data governance, innovation and advanced analytics, focusing on leveraging generative AI and Moody’s rich data ecosystem to deliver transformative
solutions. Under his leadership Moody’s helps push the boundaries of data innovation in the financial services industry.

With more than 25 years of experience in data, software, and analytics, Luis has played a key role in scaling Fintech and Proptech businesses by aligning data, analytics, strategies with rapidly
evolving market demands.

Before stepping into his current role, Luis served as General Manager of the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) operating Structured Finance units at Moody’s Analytics, where he worked closely with financial institutions, insurers, and investment funds to deliver data-driven solutions for acquisition, underwriting, portfolio management, and securitization.

Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Trepp, where he led the growth of industry-leading CMBS and CRE product lines.

Earlier in his career, Luis held leadership roles at Moody’s Wall Street Analytics, launching innovative
structured finance solutions, and at Bank of New York Mellon, where he was Assistant Vice President in the Securitization Analytics Group.
