As Executive Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer for McDonald’s, Brian Rice oversees the global technology organization that powers interactions with 64+ million customers per day and supports 1.7 million team members across more than 43,000 restaurants worldwide. His team is pioneering new frontiers in digital to transform the McDonald’s experience into an unforgettable and personalized journey for every person.

Brian has led enterprise technology teams for some of the world’s most well-known brands, including Kellogg’s, Mars, and General Motors. Prior to joining the McDonald’s family, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Global Business Services for Cardinal Health, where he modernized technology platforms and service delivery capabilities, fortifying the organization’s position as an industry leader in digital. He also launched Digital U, Cardinal Health’s learning program designed to empower its employees and drive digital agility.

Today, Brian leads the McDonald’s technology organization to deliver on the Accelerating the Arches growth strategy by doubling down on the 3Ds: delivery, digital, and drive thru.
