At its most recent user conference, Dreamforce 2024, Salesforce achieved what was likely the most successful launch of enterprise software ever when it unveiled Salesforce Agentforce, the latest member of its “force” family and its agentic (and possibly beyond agentic) artificial intelligence (AI) offering. A few months after the September conference, in December 2024, Salesforce launched the 2.0 version of Agentforce. This report looks at the current positioning, the architecture, and what this could mean for Salesforce customers in the near future.
