Amazon said its less-than-truckload (LTL) freight service now ships to any destination including third-party warehouses, distribution centers and retail partners with GPS tracking. Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5, a Mythos-class model that has safeguards for cybersecurity. The company also launched Claude Mythos 5 that'll be deployed through Project Glasswing.

Meta launched America's Workforce Academy, a free skilled trade program with job guarantees for all graduates. Meta said it will invest $115 million in the first year. The program kicks off in Louisiana, Ohio, Indiana and Texas.

China has started operations of its underwater wind-powered data center. According to the Chinese government, the data center cost about $226 million and has 24 megawatts of power. The underwater data center was announced in October 2025.

The Guardian covered the launch of operations of the underwater data center, which is off of the coast of Shanghai. The demonstration project may lead to more underwater data centers powered mostly by renewable energy.

NinjaOne raised more than $400 million in a Series C round that values the company at $12.3 billion. NinjaOne provides an IT operations platform that features endpoint management, autonomous patching, backup and remote access.

Bending Spoons filed for an IPO and the registration statement is a bit quirky. The company walks through the origin of its name (a nod to the fictional concept of bending spoons with the mind) and how it thinks there are 1,000 acquisition prospects today. For now, Bending Spoons owns AOL, Brightcove, Eventbrite, Evernote, Harvest, komoot, Remini, StreamYard, Vimeo and WeTransfer.

The company set out to build an operating machine for digital businesses. Bending Spoons isn't going to generate SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic headlines, but it's an interesting read. The model and approach rhymes a bit with People Incorporated, which used to be IAC, a holding company run by Barry Diller, up until June 4.

Technology executives said their companies are deploying AI faster than IT can track, according to an IBM survey.

The IBM Institute for Business Value surveyed 2,000 senior IT executives.

Key findings include:

• 38% of execs expect an increase in the number of AI agents deployed.
• 11% of execs say they are fully ready to scale AI agent deployments.
• 77% of organizations say that AI adoption is outpacing current governance.
• Enterprises had an average of 54 AI agent incidents last year that required human correction and 17% of those incidents were severe including security breaches, systems failures and compliance issues.
• AI spend is projected to grow to 25% of the IT budget in 2027, up from 15% in 2025.

SpaceX said Google has rented out 110,000 Nvidia GPUs for $920 million a month between October 2026 through June 2029. Capacity will ramp through September at a reduced fee. After Dec. 31, the agreement can be terminated by either party with 90 days notice.

Anthropic is renting more than 222,000 Nvidia GPUs from SpaceX. Anthropic is paying SpaceX $1.25 billion a month.

SpaceX is starting to look like a cloud provider.

A few thoughts:

• Want to see the fine print here.
• These deals are non-binding.
• Assuming that Google is renting the higher end Nvidia GPUs from SpaceX.
• This is like when a media company puts its wares on Netflix to make a few million or so. You license it because you can't make a return on your own IP. In SpaceX and SpaceXAI's case this is Grok.

In a blog post, OpenAI said that it has a new architecture for ChatGPT memory to better understand context. There's also a summary page that allows users to review and steer what's remembered.

If there was a theme this week from the cybersecurity industry there was this: Anthropic's Mythos is great for demand.

Rubrik CEO Bipul Sinha on its better-than-expected earnings call said:

"We are now in a new era of cybersecurity. Today, AI agents are attacking us. These autonomous agents can intrude, breach and encrypt at machine speed. Mythos was a powerful breakup call for the cybersecurity industry, but it is already something of the past. Better faster model versions are already in development. Mythos has proven that attack detection is near impossible and cyber resilience is now the most fundamental cybersecurity requirement for the AI era. In fact, Mythos is driving more customer conversations around cyber resilience and recovery. And that is one of the reasons why we have raised our top line guidance for the rest of the year. And at the same time, AI agents are increasingly running business processes. Workflows that assume identities, access sensitive data and take autonomous action. Once compromised, these agents can potentially inflict 10x more damage in 1/10 of the time."

Sinha said cyber resilience is a key theme and Mythos is speeding up those conversations.

"If you just look at what has happened post Mythos, I have personally done 140 CIO and CISO meetings in the last quarter, that is up 50% sequentially quarter-over-quarter. Cyber resilience is the only cybersecurity strategy that is viable for the AI era," he said.

Rubrik's first quarter non-GAAP earnings trounced estimates by 19 cents a share. The company raised its outlook for the second quarter to $395 million to $397 million compared to estimates of $382.83 million.

For those keeping score at home, Rubrik had 13 mentions of Mythos on its conference call.

Cloudflare said it will acquire VoidZero, the JavaScript tooling company behind Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+. Cloudflare said VoidZero's applications will remain open source and will remain vendor agnostic.

Palantir said it is available on Google Cloud Marketplace and now has two-way integrations between Google Cloud BigQuery and Palantir's Foundry platform. AIP and Gemini are also connected for enterprise use.

The news lands as Palantir launches its latest AIPCon, which is a look at what customers are doing with enterprise use cases.
