Time to Introduce Hi-Fi for Enterprise Processes

This report analyzes the evolution of process mining from its first generation to the current best practice of object-centric process mining (OCPM). It walks through the evolution of insight platforms, shows how the era of Infinite Computing1 is a game changer for process mining, and discusses how OCPM can overcome the limitations of the first generation of process mining. OCPM basically introduces high fidelity (hi-fi) to process management—and similar to hi-fi for the audio industry, it is introducing a better, higher-quality, less insights–losing approach to process mining that fosters a deeper understanding of an enterprise’s processes.
