HubSpot adds Answer Engine Optimization, contextual updates to platform
HubSpot launched features for AI visibility, progressing deals and a bevy of AI agents.
The company's Spring 2026 release lands amid a pricing change for HubSpot's two best performing AI agents. HubSpot will start pricing on outcomes such as resolved customer conversations and viable sales leads.
HubSpot's big theme with its latest release is what it calls "growth context," which revolves around providing the data so customers can build awareness, grow revenue and scale support.
- HubSpot to price Breeze Customer Agent, Breeze Prospecting Agent on outcomes
- HubSpot’s strategy: Use AI to deliver work, not software
- SaaS under the microscope: How to evaluate your vendor
- Constellation ShortList™ B2B Marketing Automation for the Enterprise
Here's a look at some of the features added to HubSpot's platform.
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). HubSpot noted that organic traffic for HubSpot customers is down 27% from a year ago while AI referral traffic has tripled. The good news is that AI engines convert at a higher rate. HubSpot AEO enables marketers to optimize their business content for AI.
HubSpot AEO is available in Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise plans or as a separate service for $50 a month. Features include competitive benchmarking, citation analysis and recommendations. With AEO embedded into Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise plans, there is optimization available for specific prompts.
Breeze Assistant is trained on HubSpot's AI marketing playbook, or Loop Marketing. Breeze Assistant includes role awareness for sales teams and marketing, brand alignment, expanded data access and better page context.
Prospecting Agent covers the entire prospecting lifecycle and pulls context from CRM and intent signals. Prospecting Agent identifies buying signals to prioritize accounts, finds buying committees and personalizes outreach.
Smart Deal Progression, which provides follow-ups and updates based on meeting transcripts with CRM history, business context and next step for teams.
Customer Agent now works with email support. Customer Agent enables teams to control how an agent behaves across channels, manages tone and style and supports multiple brands.
