HubSpot to price Breeze Customer Agent, Breeze Prospecting Agent on outcomes
HubSpot said it will start pricing its Breeze Customer Agent and Breeze Prospecting Agent based on outcomes. Customers will only pay when AI agents complete an assigned task.
The Breeze Customer Agent and Breeze Prospecting Agent are the most successful at delivering outcomes on HubSpot's platform, according to executives on HubSpot's fourth quarter earnings call.
HubSpot's agent pricing model has revolved around credits and Breeze agents accounted for most of the consumption.
Starting April 14, Breeze Customer Agent and Breeze Prospecting Agent will be priced on outcome. Breeze Customer Agent will be priced at $0.50 per resolved conversation, down from $1 per conversation. Breeze Prospecting Agent will charge $1 per lead recommended for outreach. Breeze Prospecting Agent previously had a recurring monthly charge.

The big picture
Yamini Rangan, CEO of HubSpot, said on the company's fourth quarter earnings call that the AI strategy is about driving outcomes for companies with two to 2,000 employees. Rangan said:
"We embed AI across the platform. We deliver agents that do real work, and we give teams tools like Breeze Assistant and LLM connectors to turn their data into action."
Rangan said HubSpot's customer agents are activated by more than 8,000 customers and see mid-60 percentage resolution rates. Prospecting agents from HubSpot have been activated by more than 10,000 customers.
"We are focused on making AI work for growth companies. While there is no shortage of AI solutions in the market, there is a real gap between generating AI output and driving growth outcomes," said Rangan. "Closing that gap is what will unlock broad AI adoption, and that requires content, having the right information at the right time with the judgment to know what to do with it."
The plan for HubSpot is to leverage its platform, which houses content, brand guidelines and customer workflows to arm its Breeze agents. "Our AI vision is to lead with our agent to customer platform, where unified customer data, business content, pure benchmarks across more than 288,000 customers and deep domain expertise powers workflows and agents," said Rangan.
He added:
"The biggest challenge that I see is that there is a huge gap between AI output and AI outcomes. And when I say outcomes, I mean more leads, more deals, more growth. And by the way, that's all our customers want to talk to us about. Mid-market companies don't care about AI for the sake of AI. They don't want to just adopt it. They care about driving growth. And if AI can help with that, they will adopt it."
