Samsung launched its latest Galaxy Ultra devices and the pitch is getting things done faster in the background. Samsung launched its Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 with enhanced AI-driven features throughout. Galaxy S26 Ultra includes 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options starting at $1,299.99. Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 feature 256GB and 512GB storage options with Galaxy S26+ starting at $1,099.99 and Galaxy S26 starting at $899.99.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by a customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform with integrated CPU, GPU and NPU. Samsung said the latest Galaxy devices are designed to make recommendations and be prepared to help based on your personal context.

HP reported a better-than-expected first quarter results with earnings of 58 cents a share on revenue of $14.4 billion, up 6.9% from a year ago. Non-GAAP earnings in the quarter were 81 cents a share, or 4 cents better than estimates.

Bruce Broussard, Interim CEO at HP, said the company saw strong demand for AI PCs. Personal systems revenue was up 11% with consumer up 16% from a year ago and commercial up 9%.

HP held its outlook, but said results may be closer to the low end of its range due to memory costs. For the second quarter, HP projected non-GAAP earnings of 70 cents a share to 76 cents a share. For fiscal 2026, HP projected non-GAAP earnings of $2.90 a share to $3.20 a share.

SambaNova launched its SN50 AI inference chip that runs agentic AI 3x cheaper than GPUs and said SoftBank will be the first to deploy the chip in its AI data center in Japan. The company also said it raised $350 million in Series E funding.

In addition, SambaNova said it will collaborate with Intel to deliver cloud-scale AI inference.

SambaNova's S50 will ship to customers later this year.

Rimini Street reported a fourth quarter profit of $724,000, or a penny a share, on revenue of $109.8 million, down 3.9% from a year ago. Non-GAAP earnings for the fourth quarter were 6 cents a share.

The revenue decline was due to Rimini Street phasing out its PeopleSoft support offerings.

As for the outlook, Rimini Street projected first quarter revenue between $101.5 million and $103.5 million. The company reiterated revenue growth for 2026 in the 4% to 6% range.

CEO Seth Ravin said on the earnings call that its agentic ERP offerings with ServiceNow are garnering strong interest. He said:

"We're positioning Rimini Street as the bridge between existing traditional ERP software infrastructure and the capability and benefits of modern AI innovation, and we expect growing subscriptions for both Rimini Support as our core service offering and our new AI for the real-world service offerings to fuel top and bottom line growth in 2026."
