Executive Summary

AI is transforming all aspects of human life, and one of the biggest shifts will be the rise of physical AI. As such, it is a critical contributor to accelerated digital processes and real-world physical processes, making it a key driver for Enterprise Acceleration.

Physical AI is beginning to increase in importance through the adoption of humanoids, robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles. However, bridging the digital world of bits and bytes to the real world governed by physics introduces new challenges: unstructured scenarios in the real world; gaps between simulated worlds and reality (Sim2Real gaps); data scarcity for complex scenarios; hardware integration with motors, actuators, and sensors; and sometimes “common sense” to help robots navigate unprogrammed scenarios.

To address such complexities, cloud providers—such as Nebius, in partnership with NVIDIA—have announced capabilities to accelerate the physical AI lifecycle from data ingestion to simulation, model training, evaluation, and deployment. The goal of such capabilities is to help robot model builders get to a working robot faster by abstracting the complexities of cloud infrastructure and robot lifecycle management.
