SpaceXAI launches Grok Bot work assistant

SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot, an AI teammate that resembles a user friendly OpenClaw starting at $120 a month.

The significance of Grok Bot is that it appears to be the first product from the combination of xAI and Cursor. Grok Bot also represents SpaceX's enterprise push. On SpaceX's second quarter earnings call, enterprise technology got a lot of play whether executives were talking about Cursor or enterprise connectivity via StarLink.

Grok Bot has its own virtual machine, can sign onto your tools and work across your apps. Jobs are described in a chat window and carried out. What models are being used don't appear to be disclosed.

According to SpaceX, Grok Bot is used internally for sale, marketing, expenses and other tasks. Grok Bot is in beta and available for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers. Enterprise plans are expected to land soon.

Based on the chatter on X, it's clear SpaceX provided early access to Grok Bot and not surprisingly landed glowing reviews.

SpaceX appears to be betting that a low learning curve, the ability to run multiple bots in parallel (with a manager), specialists and an easy interface are differentiators. You can also put Grok Bots in a group to coordinate on their own.

• The cloud computer used by Grok Bot is encrypted in transit and at rest with training opt-out.
• Isolation is per user not Grok Bot.
