Event Report: Nvidia GTC Kicks Off - All Eyes on AI Future
The "Super Bowl" of AI Begins Today
Over 30,0000 in person attendees convened into San Jose, CA along with an estimated 300,000 online to hear Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang share the latest in AI. Known as Nvidia GTC, the GPU Tech Conference, always brings a plethora of announcements from chips to apps, new partnerships to customer success stories.
Tops on this year's list are:
- Hear more on Vera Rubin AI and Vera Ultra road maps and AI factories. These are all coming in 2027 and then Feynman GPU fo 2028. Customers hope to hear more on the advancements, release schedules, and supply constraint risks.
- Watch for ecosystems for cross platform multi-agentic AI. Constellation Research predicts this market to be $10B in 2026 and 200B by 2035. Watch to see how Nvidia will support this market and in some places play a key role in the ecosystem as apps come to life in an increasingly autonomous world.
- See where LPU's and GPU's come together. New chip sets taking advantage of Grog’s LPU’s will drive energy efficiency and lower costs up to 10x more efficient than GPUs for inference This shift is about powering AI software for lower cost and a route to market for dominating inference.
- See how Nvidia will dominate Physical AI. Given the outsized presence of physical AI companies at GTC, expect a lot of announcements here. Keep an eye on how many of these physical AI companies adopt the Nvidia standards going forward.
- Look for growth in Sovereign AI. As countries seek to control their AI to reflect the values and cultural priorities, the demand for sovereign AI will increase. This once in a generation opportunity represents $1.5 trillion by 2030 and a large component of future market cap valuation.
The Bottom Line: AI Demand Remains Healthy Despite the Doomsayers
The AI Age has just begun. As companies navigate margin compression, exponential scale, and infinite possibilities, Constellation believes that those who adopt AI earlier into their business models will have a 10 to 1 advantage versus those who fail to move to an AI First approach. This revolution not only continues the digitization efforts of the past decace, but also accelerates the capabilities for data to decision automation.

Constellation Research recommends that readers consult a stock professional for their investment guidance. Investors should understand the potential conflicts of interest analysts might face. Constellation does not underwrite or own the securities of the companies the analysts cover. Analysts themselves sometimes own stocks in the companies they cover—either directly or indirectly, such as through employee stock-purchase pools in which they and their colleagues participate. As a general matter, investors should not rely solely on an analyst’s recommendation when deciding whether to buy, hold, or sell a stock. Instead, they should also do their own research—such as reading the prospectus for new companies or for public companies, the quarterly and annual reports filed with the SEC—to confirm whether a particular investment is appropriate for them in light of their individual financial circumstances.
