Intuit expands industry roster for Intuit Enterprise Suite, steps up midmarket game
Intuit launched industry focused versions of its Intuit Enterprise Suite, automated revenue management via its Sequence acquisition, a context layer powered by Intuit Intelligence and a financial command center.
The news, outlined at Intuit Connect, highlights how Intuit is pushing into midmarket ERP and showing success.
Intuit's updates to its enterprise suite are focused on industries where the company's platform does well. Industry versions include:
- Construction, which has dedicated financial and operational tools tailored to construction workflows.
- Manufacturing, which has workflows for multi-location inventory and production to multi-level bills of materials.
- And nonprofits, which will get a version of Intuit Enterprise Suite that has fund and grant accounting built in.
The company's recent acquisition of Sequence will bring automated quote-to-revenue workflows and new reporting for financial teams. Intuit is also betting on its data flywheel across its platform to offer shared financial context, expertise and insights via Intuit Intelligence.
Intuit's big plans for the midmarket
Powered by Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Advanced, Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi said on the company's September Investor Day that the midmarket ERP efforts are about to pay off. The midmarket represents one of Intuit's big bets for growth.
Goodarzi said the midmarket software business is growing more than 30% and attracting new customers. Intuit Enterprise Suite launched about two years ago.
Ashley Still, executive VP and GM of Intuit's midmarket and small business group, said during the company's Investor Day that "we're fueling mid-market success and also winning new customers in the mid-market through industry additions and our accountant flywheel."
Still said the bet is that the Intuit platform "already serves a broad and diverse customer base from a new entrepreneur just getting started to a complex $100 million mid-market business." As a result, Intuit's midmarket business can cover multiple industries and geographies.
"We win when we solve customer problems end-to-end and customers grow with us as their needs become more complex. For businesses, we provide a complete platform with accounting, money in, money out, capital, business intelligence and much more," said Still. "For accountants, we are automating their manual work, surfacing client insights and helping them manage their firm. Our durable advantage is trusted financial intelligence and automation built on shared business and accountant data that reinforces our network effect."

The network effect refers to Intuit Intelligence, which aims to provide AI-driven one and done experiences and deep data on financial and industry-specific processes. Intuit Intelligence can address common midmarket questions about whether a project is profitable, profit margins and whether a vendor needs to be replace. According to Intuit, more than 75% of Intuit Enterprise Suite customers use on of the company's AI agents each month.
In August, Intuit said it expended Intuit Intelligence across its mid-market portfolio with conversational experiences.
Intuit Enterprise Suite has also added human capital management features that combine with payroll customers. About 60% of midmarket payroll customers are using Intuit's HCM offerings. The plan is to gain share with payroll and HCM customers in the new year.
Results so far and what's next
Still said Intuit's midmarket revenue grew 39% in fiscal 2026, the customer base grew 28% and Intuit Enterprise Suite nearly hit $150 million in annual recurring revenue.
Intuit Enterprise Suite results have been fueled by the following:
- Upgrading an installed base to the midmarket offerings.
- Expanding go-to-market and expert-led onboarding.
- Attracting emerging midmarket businesses with QuickBooks Online Advance and then moving them up to Intuit Enterprise Suite when ready.
- Faster implementation times at a lower cost.
Still noted that Intuit has a built-in audience for Intuit Enterprise Suite. She said customers "want everything in one place without a heavy implementation or ongoing integration costs. And that's what we've delivered with Advanced, an integrated solution with payments, bill pay, capital, payroll all integrated into the platform into one simple offering."
