This week I attended Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's (ALE) partner and analyst conference, Connex18 in Riga, Latvia. ALE is currently known mainly for unified communications, contact centre, PBX and telephony type solutions, but they are evolving to a more cloud based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) provider. For my coverage area, that means they are entering the Enterprise Group Messaging (ex: Microsoft Teams, Slack, Cisco Spark, etc.) market with their product ALE Rainbow.
