Executive Summary

ABOUT THIS SHORTLIST

Global Capability Centers (GCC) have become a core part of how enterprises access specialized talent, improve operating control, and build global scale. Although cost optimization remains important, the GCC mandate is expanding into product engineering, cybersecurity, data, AI, finance, customer operations, research and development, and other high-value functions.

The next phase of GCC growth will be shaped by AI-native operating models. Enterprises are no longer looking only for headcount scale or offshore delivery. They need centers designed around data, automation, software engineering, governance, and human-machine workflows from the start.

India remains the largest and most mature GCC market because of its deep technology talent, operating maturity, and large installed base of enterprise centers. At the same time, GCC strategies are becoming more global as enterprises evaluate Eastern Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and other offshore and nearshore locations to balance cost, talent, proximity, resilience, and regulatory needs.

This ShortList highlights service providers that help enterprises plan, build, scale, and modernize AI-native GCCs. The selected providers combine advisory, setup, talent, operating model, engineering, AI, automation, and transformation capabilities.
