ServiceNow launches Flow, targets first-time ITSM users

Published October 1, 2026

ServiceNow launched Flow by ServiceNow, a conversational AI service desk offering that can be deployed quickly for every size company. Flow is positioned as a startup within ServiceNow.

Flow is designed to appeal to small teams, SMBs and enterprises. ServiceNow's Flow could be a way to reach customers the vendor doesn't typically reach.

Key points:

  • Flow can be deployed in day and delivers automation without infrastructure and training. ServiceNow said Flow reimagines that way ITSM is deployed.
  • Support is delivered in multiple chat channels used by existing teams.
  • Flow will build on previous inquiries and continually learn.
  • The company said IT admins can resolve a request and convert it to an automated workflow.

According to ServiceNow, current customers can deploy Flow or AI-native SKUs with no additional procurement costs. Flow is consumption based and aimed at first-time ITSM buyers and enterprise satellite and remote teams.

Flow is in controlled availability with North America getting priority access. General availability is expected int eh fourth quarter.
