Simon Ninan

Simon Ninan is Chief Strategy Officer for Hitachi Vantara, a market leader in mission-critical data infrastructure. In his role, Simon is responsible for developing and driving Hitachi Vantara’s business strategy for the short and long term, with the goal of maximizing customer and stakeholder value while promoting growth, innovation and market leadership – all leveraging the immense and growing power of data.

Simon is also a senior leader within the Corporate Strategy Office for Hitachi Ltd., supporting synergy advisory for the North American region. He is a key advisor for Hitachi’s marquee ‘Data Center of the Future’ project, representing IT strategy and business development.

Prior to Hitachi, Simon spent many years as an Associate Partner with Monitor Deloitte, working as a strategic advisor to senior client executives across startups and Fortune 500 companies. He led several large-scale business and technology transformation programs across the telecommunications and hi-tech world, spanning new business standups, new product and service launches, growth and scale programs, and business model transformations.
