Minerva Tantoco started her first AI company with a group of friends in Silicon Valley in 1985. It was sold to Computer Associates. In 2014, after holding senior leadership positions at Palm, Fannie Mae, Merrill Lynch and UBS, Minerva was appointed the first CTO of the City of New York. Holding four US patents in intelligent mortgage processing, Minerva co-founded an AI-driven digital commercial bank, the first to receive a full service OCC banking charter in over a decade, pioneering embedded compliance architecture.  She has also served as the inaugural Chief AI Officer of the AI Hub at NYU McSilver.
