Doug Marinaro

Doug Marinaro is CEO and co-founder of Riptide, with 30+ years of experience helping businesses adopt new technologies and business models. At Riptide, he is building AI Customer Advocacy to handle the “hard stuff”—customer issues that require coordination and human judgment. Through its Human-in-the-Flow architecture, Ripley engages the people and systems needed to resolve each issue, adapting as circumstances change and staying with the customer through resolution. Previously, Doug co-founded LiquidSpace and served as COO. He holds engineering degrees from UC Berkeley and brings a practical perspective on AI, service innovation, and customer-centered transformation.
