Doug is a serial entrepreneur and CEO with venture leadership experience spanning four decades, five prior ventures, and four successful exits – and one bubble baby IPO he only discusses with a glass of scotch in hand. Doug is presently Founder and CEO of Synfini, Inc., an AI-guided robotic automation system for rapid, small molecule drug discovery. Doug’s prior domain/digital experience has included operating systems (80’s), networking (90’s), distance learning (00’s), industrial IoT (early 10’s), and AI-driven medical devices (late 10’s). Married, father of three, grandfather of one (as of Jan ’26!), and a rapidly declining golfer.
