David Mathison is the creator of the world’s first Talent-as-a-Service (TaaS) network for fractional and on-demand Chief AI and Data Officers (2025), the first dedicated enterprise CAIO/GenAI executive search practice (2024), the world’s first Chief AI Officer Summit (2023), and the original CDO Summit (2013).

He founded the CDO Club in 2012 and built it into a $1B+ influence engine of 100,000+ C-suite AI, Data, and Digital executives across Fortune 500 companies, venture and private equity portfolios, and government and national security organizations — leaders who collectively influence billions in enterprise technology spend.

He is currently raising a $3M angel round to scale the AI Leadership TaaS platform.
