Dan Letter is the chief executive officer of Prologis and serves on the company’s board of directors, as well as leading the Executive Committee. In this role, he guides Prologis’ strategic, operational and investment decisions and works closely with leaders across the company to support growth.

Previously, Letter served as president of Prologis, where he oversaw most of the company’s business lines, including global real estate operations, capital deployment and strategic capital. He also led Prologis’ global capital deployment function, with responsibility for the investment committee, the deployment pipeline and multi-market portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.

Letter started with AMB Property Corporation in 2004 as a development manager in Chicago. Since then, he has held several regional leadership positions at the company, including president of the U.S. Central Region, where he was responsible for all activities—including development, acquisitions and operations in the region—and managing director, capital deployment of the U.S. West Region. Throughout his tenure, Letter has supported Prologis’ growth at both the market and global levels, helping position it as the world’s largest owner, operator and developer of logistics real estate.

As CEO, he represents the company with key stakeholders, including customers, public and private investors and media, and advocates for the industry at key conferences and policy-making events. Letter also champions the company's core values and actively promotes a positive culture, fostering an environment where teamwork and innovation thrive.

Letter has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Marquette University. He is a member of Nareit’s Executive Board, The Real Estate Roundtable and The Vieth Institute for Real Estate Advisory Board, Marquette University.
