Alisha Thompson

I'm the Chief Technology Officer at Team Air Distributing, where I lead all technology and innovation initiatives — modernizing our ERP, advancing our business intelligence platform, transforming e-commerce and IT infrastructure, and developing a high-performing technology team. It's some of the most rewarding and cutting-edge work of my career, alongside a talented group that pushes our business forward every day.

My career began in Houston, Texas, supporting NASA's Space Shuttle Program through United Space Alliance. I worked in Mission Control on flight software and operating system testing, including STS-109, the fourth Hubble servicing mission. That chapter shaped how I approach mission-critical systems and engineering rigor to this day.

Across more than 25 years, I've held senior technology roles spanning BI, analytics, and digital strategy — including Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Attindas Hygiene Partners and senior leadership at Domtar, where I owned global digital and BI strategy. Earlier roles included MicroStrategy and Fruit of the Loom.
I hold an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MS and BS in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University, plus MCE, MCD, and Six Sigma Black Belt certifications.
