Akshay Bhargava

Akshay Bhargava is Vice President of Product Management for Cisco’s AI Software and Platform group, where he leads AI Canvas, AI Defense, and AI Studio—advancing Cisco’s AI-native product strategy for the enterprise. Akshay brings more than 20 years of experience building and scaling AI-powered platforms across observability, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.

Previously, Akshay was Group Vice President of Product Management at New Relic and Chief Product Officer and General Manager at 1Password. He has also held leadership roles at Malwarebytes, Oracle Cloud, FireEye, and Rainfinity, and began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Akshay holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
